The Declaration of Independence was our Nation's first document declaring it's freedom. This blog will talk about different aspects of the Declaration of Independence.
The Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 men on July 4, 1776. Some of the key people that were involved with this document was Thomas Edison, John Adams, and William Floyd. They made this document so they could have freedom and with that freedom they needed something to live by.
May 10th was the first day they got together and started making this document. It is one of the most important documents and one that's been around ever since it was created. It impacted history a lot because that what was set for us to be like and act like, we still followed today. At the time it was the most cherished symbol of liberty. Jefferson expressed and engaged the hearts and minds of people.
